The Educational Services Committee consists of one member from each branch of D17. It is the mandate of OSSTF that Teacher Professional Development shall be voluntary and self-directed. The objectives of the Educational Services Committee are:
to promote at least one county-wide professional development activity day for D17 TBU teachers each school year
to be responsible for the allocation of D17 TBU professional development funds
to distribute materials including resource books and research publications
to assist members in areas of research, professional development, curriculum, and issues of educational concern
to assist, wherever possible, in the development of in-service programs

Applications MUST be completed at least FOUR weeks prior to your conference/workshop/training or the start date of your course.

In light of the current social restrictions due to the COVID-19 outbreak we have created an electronic claim form where you can submit copies of your receipts. Mailing in is no longer required.
Please be aware that the processing of claims WILL take longer than usual.
We will not respond to, or accept, Applications for PD Funding OR PD Funding ClaimS from SCDSB email addresses.
