Yoga with Leslie Cunsolo from Wasaga Beach Yoga
Leslie has been involved in Yoga for over 15 years, teaching for the last 9. She has embraced yoga as a way of life and feels so fortunate to be able to share her love and passion with the people around her. Her desire mixed with the sheer joy that yoga has brought her has lead her on a path of personal growth and wellness. Yoga has made Leslie better in mind, body and heart. The nature and unity of yoga ultimately is what inspires Leslie to share and teach it.
When people talk about yoga, they often reference the physiological benefits of the practice, such as increased flexibility and decreased muscle stiffness. Yoga is a great way to maintain, gain, renew and restore one’s physical health in order to continue to have an active life. There are also plenty of mental, psychological, and cognitive benefits of yoga. There have been several studies done to assess the effectiveness of yoga for brain and mental health—-and the research has come back promising. In this light hearted class learn a few tools to keep your body feeling great and your mind clear, calm and at ease.
