Bright and Shiny New Year

Welcome back!! Whether you are in your first semester or headed to retirement at some point this year, I want to extend my best wishes to you for a successful year.  We have three people working for you in the office at 51 King St, myself, Karen Littlewood, the Chief Negotiator and Benefits Officer Tom Barnes and the Grievance Officer, Jessica Burnie.  The office is staffed from 8:30-4:30 on weekdays and you can also reach us by voicemail or email.  If you have ANY questions or concerns about your job or working conditions, please contact one of us.  There are also union leaders in your worksite who may be able to help you.  There should be a Branch President and Collective Bargaining Committee Reps as well as others who participate on one of our many committees.  There are many great opportunities for you within our union and I encourage you to be as informed as possible.  We have a Facebook page, a Twitter account, , the website and this blog, all designed to keep you in the know.  I look forward to serving you again this year as your President.
