As I write this, it's the morning of the last day of classes for 2014. I'm a bit tired and my head is full of all the things I need to do and how many more there are that I can't remember at the moment. I know I have worked pretty hard so far this year but I know that those of you out in our schools, whatever your role, are working even harder. I also know we need to accept help when it's offered. Our employer provides an employee assistance plan, EAP, 'Shepell', to help you deal with any of the struggles you're facing. Your Union also provides such a service, 'Posaction' and 'feeling better now'. So many people have used these services and say they have been so very helpful. They're there for you to use and best of all, they're FREE!!! Holidays can be almost as stressful as work. Try to take some time for yourself and TAKE CARE of yourself. Take advantage of these services and recharge so you are able to face a new year. Believe it or not, we are almost at the halfway point. It's ok to use a little help to get you there safely.
